LANNAVAARA is our ‘race base’ throughout the competition, including start, finish & checkpoints.

Saturday 11th April 2026

Race base – Aurora Mountain Lodge, Lannavaara
10.00 – 12.00 – Registration open (300km)
13.30 – 15.30 – Registration (150km) 
13.00 – Vet Check (300km)
16.30 – Vet check (150km)
17.00 – Mushers Meeting 300km (mandatory for musher & handler), takes place in the “Lounge” area of Aurora Mountain Lodge
20.00 – START, long distance 300km

18.00 – 21.00 – The restaurant is open 18.00 – 21.00
NOTE! NO access to accommodation cabins/rooms until 14.00 at the earliest. You can park the car outside the cabin beforehand.

Sunday 12th April 2026

12.00 – Mushers meeting 150km (mandatory for Musher & Handler), takes place in “Lounge” area of Aurora Mountain Lodge
16.00 – START mid distance 150km. Subject to change depending on temperature!
Lannavaara checkpoint and race base open all day.

Monday 13th April 2026

Teams expected at Lannavaara throughout the day, starting early morning.
14.00 – Prize ceremony (estimated)
