LANNAVAARA is our ‘race base’ throughout the competition, including start, finish & checkpoints.

Saturday 11th April 2026

Race base – Aurora Mountain Lodge, Lannavaara
10.00 – 12.00 – Registration open
13.00 – 17.00 – Vet Check (300km – you will allocated a time)
17.00 – 17.30 – Inauguration of Swedish Championship
17.30 – Mushers Meeting 300km (mandatory for musher & handler), takes place in the “Lounge” area of Aurora Mountain Lodge
18.00 – 18.10 – Polar meeting for Meritation
20.00 – START, long distance 300km

18.00 – 21.00 – The restaurant is open 
NOTE! NO access to accommodation cabins/rooms until 14.00 at the earliest. You can park the car outside the cabin beforehand.

Sunday 12th April 2026

10.00 – Registration (150km)
11.00-14.00 – Vet check (150km – you will be allocated a time)
15.00 – Mushers meeting 150km (mandatory for Musher & Handler), takes place in “Lounge” area of Aurora Mountain Lodge
18.00 – START mid distance 150km
Lannavaara checkpoint and race base open all day.

Monday 13th April 2026

Teams expected at Lannavaara throughout the day, starting early morning.
16.00 – Prize ceremony (estimated)
17.00 – Dinner available at restaurant (please pre-book at registration)
